Journey in a Nutshell
We got underway about 8:00 A.M. this morning, We left the Valentine Farms Bed and Breakfast with temps around -8 below 0. We traveled Northwest torward Dalton Mills and on to Missanabie, Ontario. We then traveled Southwest to Wawa... Trails pretty good, except for a 15 mile stretch just north of Dalton Mills (the groomer was broke). We arrived about 5:00 P.M.  in Wawa and are staying at Willy's Bristol Motel... the center of universe in this area for snowmobiling... Everyone loves to read the emails we get each day... keep them coming, ask us a question, whatever! just click below

We discovered that we had a better picture of the moose we saw yesterday, and just had to share it with everyone!

We met a group of  locals along the trail today... they had these wolf and bear mittens... this was good therapy for Betty, she has been having this reoccuring dream of a wolf chasing her down the trail....The other lady just happened to be the waiteress that waited on us for breakfast in Wawa, Ontario 9 days ago!

The locals put this reminder too not drink and drive.... Funny and NOT!

As we head south toward Wawa, Ontario, we see more snowmobilers on the trail....George had a close call today, we think the other rider saw George's flag on the back of his sled as they both came to the top of the same hill.  Here we see some oncoming traffic with the helmetcam.... this could take 20 minutes to download...on slow dialup access.
