Journey in a Nutshell
We got underway about 8:00 A.M. this morning, We left Wawa, Ontario and traveled northwest toward Manitouwadge, Ontario, stopping for lunch and gas in White River, Ontario. Snow conditions seem to be getting better the farther north we go.We arrived about 5:00 completing just under 200 miles today. We will be  heading west toward Nakina, Ontario. This view just north of Wawa, Ontario on the Magpie river looks like something out of a science fiction movie... very sureal! This area has totally been logged out... the new trees are just starting to grow. We are standing on a new Dam the old one is busted up below
 

Here we see Robert crossing a River... he is a professionable rider, don't try this at home... the water was 6 feet deep or was that 6"
 

Pete attempts to cross the same stream too, the water was only 5" deep, so no big deal.....
 

Today we went thru a large area that had been burned out in a forest fire. A lot of little lakes in this area, at one end of each of these lakes is a small area where trees were spared from the fire.. little oasis....
 

George decided to break rule #1 and leave the trail today... it doesn't look like it but this is a very steep hill.... he made it!  going down!
