The view from the trail today.....
We passed through several logged and fire burned out areas
today... lots of
curves, ups and downs and arounds. We all felt a little dizzy at the
end of the day,
like we all got stuck on a roller coaster for 6 hours straight.....
Journey
in a Nutshell
We got underway at 7:45 A.M. this morning, We left Timmins and traveled
southwest toward Chapleau, Ontario, stopping for lunch and gas at the Mooseland
Restaurant. The mooseland had a stuffed white moose, killed by a CN train,
they are very rare and according to the locals only one other one has been
seen. We all made it safely to our motel about 4:30, only a few bruises
today... and a total of 185 miles. We will be heading south toward Elliott
Lake, Ontario in the morning. Everyone loves to read the emails we get
each day... keep them coming, ask us a question, whatever! just click below

Betty the daredevil - here we see betty relaxing while riding (don't try this at home), she claims she can steer with her feet, just as good as with here hands and she can see the trail through the reflection in her helmet shield. We are not convinced this is at all safe, especially since she fell off her sled today, apparently after a snow weasle (log) in the trail caused her sled to toss her off ...Superwoman jumped back on her sled after we dug it out of the snowdrift it buried it's self in. she will be sore in the morning. | |

There were hundreds if not thousands of snow squirrels
in the woods along the trail... can you see them... we are having a contest,
the person who can find the most, wins a prize..

Not to be out done by Better, here we see robert relaxing, riding backwards down the trail. When asked why, his response was "I like to see where I've been!" Wait a minute, is his eye's shut? |
